MISSION STATEMENT

Wingman Consulting, Inc.’s purpose is to help airlines improve operational efficiency and thus become more profitable. An airline’s current operation is evaluated, a plan that integrates technology is then developed and implemented to achieve higher aircraft utilization and therefore lower costs. Our evaluation provides an honest assessment of what’s being done right and wrong. We then apply morally and ethically acceptable procedures to achieve the plan, thus enhancing long term share holder and employee wealth.

Nathan A. Martin and Connie L. Martin founded Wingman on Nathan’s vision of a safe and truly efficient airline operation. As a prior Captain for Alaska Airlines, Nathan could see great inefficiencies and because of his safety and corporate aircraft efficiency background, he could see solutions.

Nathan’s businesses and aviation background give him a unique perspective both in economics and in the airline industry. He possesses an undergraduate degree in Professional Aviation and Business as well as a Master’s degree in Aviation Management and Operations. Nathan spent several years flying civilian aircraft and taught aviation at the University level. He then flew corporate and later entered the U.S. Air Force where he graduated at the top of his pilot training class. Rapidly adding qualifications, Nathan went on to teach and evaluate other military pilots as well as to manage training, evaluation, and simulator programs. His flying took him the world over participating in many operations including the invasion of Panama, and combat time during Operation Desert Storm. Experience has come over 26 years of flight - logging more than 12,000 flight hours both civilian and military, and as the owner of a corporate aviation management company whose focus was aircraft utilization and efficiency.
